In the late 1880's Victorian Jewellery went crazy with "The Cult of the Novelty" one of those crazes was Chinese blue and white pottery - brooches were made, earrings etc using especially made miniature pieces. Here we have a rare pair of gentlemen's Lapel buttons, really well made in silver gilt with an intricate pierced rail setting. These are possibly Chinese export (the silver gilt is a clue) Subject matter is Chinese Willow Pattern. In perfect condition, they will fit any jacket lapels - male or female!Size: Front Diameter 2cm rear "push through" 1cm. Will come in a quality presentation case.
